Washington County 4-H cannot thank volunteers enough. They are a key component to what 4-H is all about in creating partnerships between caring adults and youth. Wednesday, March 18 the 4-H County Council thanked volunteers with a 4-H Volunteer Appreciation Supper.
This event was sponsored by the 4-H County Council who provided a baked potato bar and desserts to a variety of 4-H volunteers ranging from Extension Council members to 4-H youth committee members to 4-H club leaders. The supper was held in conjunction with the spring 4-H leaders training at the Extension Office.
?I love that County Council wants to thank and celebrate the club leaders like this,? said Amy Green, 4-H/Youth Coordinator. ?Our program cannot be what it is without our leaders and it?s really impossible to thank them enough for the time and care they invest in our members.?
