Growing and harvesting is not just for the farmers anymore but 4-H?ers who live in town or in the country experience much pride with growing and harvesting their 4-H garden projects.
4-H?ers interested in the garden project area are invited to attend an informational meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Washington County Extension Office. This is an introductory meeting to the many options of the garden project area. Department superintendent, Shirley Pfeifer, will discuss garden basics and fair requirements. Several resources and workbooks will be available for purchase as well.
