4-H Intermediate trip planned to Kansas City

Washington County seventh-to -ninth-grade 4-H?ers are invited to attend Region 15 4-H Intermediate Trip to Kansas City, March 10-11. 4-H?ers will be able to challenge themselves in the KC Escape Room, imagine themselves as college basketball athletes while exploring the hands-on booths at the College Basketball Experience, and enjoy time at Arrowhead Stadium, World War One Museum, and a dinner theater.

Iowa, Keokuk, and Johnson county 4-H?ers will also attend this trip, so it?s a perfect time to make new 4-H friends and explore this Midwest city.

Space is limited and registrations will be accepted first-come, first-serve. Registration forms are available at the Washington County Extension Office or found online at http://www.extension.iastate.edu/washington. Registration and the payment are due by Feb. 1 to the Washington County Extension Office. This fee will cover tickets, transportation, lodging, insurance, meals and dinner theater show. The group will travel on a charter bus which leaves March 10 tentatively at 6:30 a.m. and returns late in the evening March 11.
