The 4-H Leadership Development group is excited to announce they will host the LEGO Building Station at the Washington County Fair. This interactive and free play station is open to all young and old builders who want to play, build, engineer, design with LEGOS and enjoy new friends at the fair.
With the help of three local sponsors, Greiner Buildings Inc, Engineered Building Designs, and Washington Home and Lumber Center, legos have been purchased and will be used each day at this free, hands-on engineering station. Leadership Development members will have the station open each day from 1 ? 3 p.m. in the 4-H Hall July 18 - 20.
Monday, July 17, at 4:30 p.m. Clover Kid members are invited to be a part of the LEGO Build Off. With an adult partner, they will have a set amount of lego building supplies, space, and time to build their best creation. Participants will receive ribbons and share with the audience their creations. Clover Kids must pre-register for the Build Off by July 1 by calling the Extension Office.
