Saturday morning was hoppin? at the Washington County Fairgrounds with rabbits, 4-H?ers, 4-H parents, and 4-H volunteers. The 4-H Rabbit Workshop drew almost 20 4-H?ers to learn and share about the rabbit project area.
The event was hosted by rabbit superintendent David Moeller and senior 4-H rabbit showman Lindsey Palmer of the Lime Creek Limelights, Shelly Palmer, a 4-H alumna, and Ellie and Sophie Bell of the Prairie Pride 4-H Club. Several different breeds were showcased and junior members were able to practice showmanship tips. Demonstrations were shared on giving rabbits tattoos, clipping nails and building carriers.
