She attends Iowa Mennonite School and is a member of the Limecreek Limelights.
Her projects are market and breeding beef, photography, food nutrition, home improvement and clothing events.
Her 4-H Activities include being an officer in her 4-H club, 4-H retreats and Iowa State Fair Awardrobe clothing event.
?A favorite memory of mine is when my 4-H club would do its annual get-away retreat,? she said. ?Also, I love fair week, meeting and being with friends from other clubs and sharing each other?s projects.?
Avery has learned a lot being in 4-H.
?I learned a lot from being in 4-H, but what is important to learn is that 4-H is a place to try new things. There are so many opportunities within 4-H so by taking advantage of them it will make the experience all the better. This is also a place where you meet so many people, which is something I am forever grateful for.?
Her future plans are to attend Wisconsin Lutheran College to major in business management and continue her softball career.
