"Last summer at the county fair I won Grand Champion of the beef carcass class, Reserve Champion in the Pure Bred Angus class, as well as earning first, second and fourth places in the Rate of Gain competition," Justin said.
His other activities included: baseball, football and attending Washington Mennonite Church. He enjoys boating and jet skiing with his family and dirt bike riding around the farm.
Justin's future plans are to attend Dordt College to obtain an ag business degree. "I plan to return home to the family farm and join our three-generation farming operation that includes both beef cattle and row crop grain farm," he said.
