Lane Sandburg is a senior at Highland High School and a member of the Highlanders 4-H Club. He is the son of Robert and Joni Sandburg.
He has worked in the project areas of swine, photography, woodworking, cattle, and visual arts. His 4-H activities include County Council and community service.
Winning the Swine Derby Show is a highlight of his years in 4-H.

He also participated in National Guard, band, cross-country and basketball.
Sandburg plans to be an aerospace engineer.
