Emily Hora, of Washington, is the daughter of Brian and Theresa Hora.
She attends Washington High School and participates in the Jackson Jets 4-H club.
Emily?s projects included: visual arts, music, photography, food and nutrition, leadership, home improvement, clothing and communications.
Her activites included: being a three-year member of the Washington County ELITE project team, State 4-H Council for two years, extemporaneous speaking over nine years, using communications as her working exhibit subject, 4-H Clothing Event for nine years, District Clothing Event for one year, Washington County Fair Queen Contest and served as president of the Jackson Jets 4-H Club.
Emily?s favorite memory/highlight was creating the State 4-H Council dance.
Besides 4-H Emily was also involved in being the manager of the football and wrestling teams, National Honor Society, cheerleading, dance team, concert and marching band, FFA, SADD, drama/theater, dance and is a piano student.
Her future plans are to attend Iowa State University to major in agricultural business.
