Mason Rich is the son of Matt and Maryjo Rich.
He attends Washington High School and participates in the Go-Getters 4-H club.
His 4-H projects included: swine, bucket bottle calf and woodworking.
His special memory/highlight was the Washington County Fair.
?I will miss being involved with the fair greatly,? Mason said. ?I learned so much from other 4-H members, from other clubs and from parent leaders during fair week. I was very proud to be a 4-H member and to participate in fair activities.?
While being involved in 4-H, Mason gained confidence.
?4-H taught me to become more confident, to speak in front of people, to be more organized and most of all how to learn from others and help others learn,? Mason said.
Besides 4-H Mason was a member of the varsity basketball team, varsity golf team and FFA.
His future plans are to attend Kirkwood Community College to study ag business.
