Jack Carter, of Washington, is the son of John and Kim Carter. His sister is Lauren and his brother is Roy.
Jack attends Washington High School and is a member of the Jackson Jets 4-H club.
His 4-H activities include: State 4-H Council, Washington County 4-H ELITE Team, livestock judging, state fair swine show, Iowa State Youth Conference and being a day-camp counselor.

Jack Carter, of Washington, is the son of John and Kim Carter. His sister is Lauren and his brother is Roy.
Jack attends Washington High School and is a member of the Jackson Jets 4-H club.
His 4-H activities include: State 4-H Council, Washington County 4-H ELITE Team, livestock judging, state fair swine show, Iowa State Youth Conference and being a day-camp counselor.
His special memory/highlight were the water fights by the pig barnduring the county fair.
Jack?s other activities included: FFA, Land Lab, Peer Helpers, SADD, BPA, football, National Honor Society, World Food Prize Youth Institute, Boys State delegate, Hills Bank Leadership Program, Silver Cord and being involved with his church youth group and going on mission trips.
?I learned a lot of life skills through 4-H, like responsibility, hard work, communication and leadership skills,? Jack said. ?I will use those for the rest of my life.?
Jack?s future plans are to attend Iowa State University to study animal science.
