4-H Senior Feature

Wil Marek, is the son of Brad and Mary Sue Marek, of Riverside.

He attended Washington High School and participated in the Jackson Jets 4-H Club.

His 4-H projects included: beef, swine, home improvement, mechanics, photography and woodworking.

Wil?s 4-H activities included: community service projects and retreats.

His special memory/highlight was the State 4-H Youth Conference and showing swine at the state and county fair.

?I learned so much from 4-H,? Wil said, ?responsibility, teamwork, hard work, parliamentary procedure and much more.?

His other activities included: football, golf, track, BPA, FFA, Land Lab and Agronomy Team.

Wil?s future plans are to attend Iowa State University to study ag studies or agronomy.
