Olivia Nisly, of Kalona, is the daughter of Carl and Jennifer Nisly.
She attends Mid-Prairie High School and participated in the Horse and Pony 4-H Club.
Her 4-H projects included: riding and showing horses, vegetables, photography and chickens.
Olivia?s favorite 4-H memory/highlight was winning grand champion at the fair.
Her other activities included: being a member of FFA and playing golf.

?In 4-H I learned a lot of important record-keeping skills,? Olivia said. ?These skills will help me with important financial records later in life. I also learned a lot of important people skills. I also learned a lot more about horses and my showing skills increased from what I learned.?
Olivia?s future plans are to attend Kirkwood Community College for two years to study agriculture production management. Afterward, she plans to transfer to Iowa State University to study animal science.
