Her projects include: home improvement, photography, visual arts and citizenship.
Hill's 4-H activities include: serving as a counselor at 4-H camp, recreation committee leader in the 76 Progressives Club, Fair Queen contestant and Pride of Iowa fair cooking contest.
Her favorite memory and highlight from participating in 4-H was getting a blue ribbon on her license plate clock at the state fair.
When asked why others should join 4-H Hill said because it teaches you how to be a leader.
"I learned how to be a leader and how organization and communication are important," she said. "I learned different ways to help my community and skills I have done in my projects."
Hill's other activities included: volleyball, dance team, newspaper, yearbook editor, golf, speech, show choir and drama.
Hill's future plans are to attend Wartburg or Luther College and major in psychology and minor in social work.
