Her 4-H projects include: rabbits, goats, gardening, home improvement, food and nutrition and educational posters.
She is involved in Washington County Council, Clover Kids Rabbit Show mentor, coordinator for the rabbit workshop and mentors new 4-H members.
Her favorite 4-H memory was showing her dog in the Dog Obedience and Dog Agility classes and watching her mom take her dog through the agility course.
?In 4-H I have learned about trying new opportunities,? Palmer said. ?There are many great opportunities in this program. I have also learned that the presentations aren?t all ?bad.? They help a lot with school projects in the future.?
Beside 4-H Palmer participates in FFA, her church youth group, Silver Cord and plays golf.
Her future plans are to attend the University of Iowa to major in nursing.
