4-H Senior Feature

James Colbert, of Riverside, is the son of Doug and Barb Colbert.

He attends Highland High School and is a member of the 4-H Riverside Ramblers.

His 4-H projects include breeding beef, market beef and swine.

His other 4-H activities include Leadership Development program and Livestock Judging at both the county and state levels.

His special 4-H memory/highlight was when he won the Champion Senior Showmanship for Breeding Beef and Market Beef.

?What I learned in 4-H is to set higher goals for myself for the next year,? Colbert said. ?You should join 4-H because you make new friends and meet people from all over the county.?

His future plans are to attend Iowa State University majoring in agriculture business.
