"I love kids day during county fair week," Sedlacek said. "I always stay in the goat barn and I get one of my goats out for the kids to pet. I will sometimes walk around the grounds with one of my goats for them to pet, too. One year I showed a bucket bottle calf and spent at least an hour talking to the same two little girls about my calf. I learned so many things in 4-H that I will use for the rest of my life. I learned skills like responsibility, hard work ethic, leadership and mostly to have fun and take pride in what I do."
Sedlacek's other activities included: cross country, wrestling, track, soccer, band and choir.
Her future plans are to join the Air Force in January.
