Washington County 4-H is honored to salute its outstanding seniors who are representing the organization with pride. Today, Washington County 4-H honors Brynn Beenblossom and Sydney Cuddeback.
Brynn Beenblossom
Hometown: Washington
Parents: Marty and Teresa Beenblossom
School: Washington High School
4-H Club: Washington Hustlers
Projects: Dog and Horse Projects, Extemporaneous Speaking
4-H Activities: County Council, Washington Hustlers president.
Special 4-H memory/highlight: 2020 Washington County Fair Miss Congeniality.
What I learned in 4-H: '4-H taught me how to be a good leader and the importance of being a hard worker. Others should join 4-H because of the amazing opportunities it provides.”
Other Activities: Volleyball, National Honor Society, BPA, Student Congress and Speech
Future plans: To attend college (undecided at this time) with a major in communication disorders.

Sydney Cuddeback
Hometown: Washington
Parents: Jeff and April Cuddeback, older sister, Peyton, and a younger sister, Halle.
School: Washington High School
4-H Club: Prairie Pride
Projects: Home Improvement, Food and Nutrition, Family Consumer Science, Child Development, Photography, Communication.
4-H Activities: Served on Leadership Council and as president of Prairie Price club; served as a member of County Council, ELITE Team, and the Leadership Development Program. Sydney showed non-livestock exhibits at county and state fairs, participated in and helped with 4-H dodgeball tournaments, Project Extravaganza, Pancake Breakfasts and summer camps.
Special 4-H memory/highlight: Spending nights at the county fair with friends.
Why others should join 4-H: 'I encourage others to join 4-H for a fun way to meet new people, try new things and develop useful skills, such as leadership, responsibility and communication.”
Other Activities: FFA, National Honor Society, Student Congress, Peer Helpers, Speech, Youth Group, track and cross-country.
Future plans: Attend Iowa State University to pursue a degree in agriculture, medicine or pre-law.
