Macy is the daughter of Tim and Heather Marek.
She attended Washington High School.
Her 4-H projects included: swine, beef, photography, goats, sheep, home improvement and nutrition.
Her 4-H activities included: Washington County Council, dodgeball tournament, State Youth Conference, Fire-up, Showmanship Clinic and Spring Preview Cattle Show.
Macy's special memory and highlight from 4-H was the Washington County Fair.
"One of my favorite times of the year is during the Washington County Fair but it is never fair without a water fight, especially if there are cattle tanks involved."
Macy said others should join 4-H because of the many skills they gain from being involved in the group.
?I learned many skills which I have used in academics, sports and other organizations to succeed,? said Marek. ?4-H has also allowed me to build lifelong friendships and find a passion for my future career.?
Her other activities included: FFA, Business Professionals of America, National Honor Society, track, basketball, volleyball, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Student Congress, National Junior Swine Association, class officers, 2014 Showpig.com All-Star Team and Washington County Pork Producers 2014 Pork Queen.
Macy's future plan is to attend Iowa State University majoring in agriculture business and agriculture education.
