Why should others join 4-H or what is something you've learned:
'As a 4-Her I met new people and was able to try new things that I might not normally have,” said Meghan. 'It allowed me and kind of forced me to step out of my comfort zone and gave me confidence. 4-H helped me develop more people skills and helped me see where my community needed help and how best to help others around me.”
Other Activities: Washington Archery – NASP (7 years), Washington Soccer (3 years), Horseback Training and Therapy for Kids with Special Needs (7 years), Peer PE (1 year), Silver Cord, and Volunteering at Paws and More in Washington (1 year).
Future plans: I plan on attending the University of Iowa to study in Pediatric Nursing or Criminal Justice to become a Police Officer. I plan on participating in ROTC and joining the military.
