Washington County 4-H seeks to honor the group’s senior members by shining the spotlight on each one as they near the end of their 4-H journey. Today the spotlight shines on Nick West.

4-H Activities: Spring Cattle Show, 4-H President, 4-H Vice President, canned food drive, packaging Food for Hunger, and volunteering during community events!
Special 4-H Memory: Winning Grand Champion Overall Produce Steer, Mud Volleyball, and Water fights.
Reflection on 4-H:“Others should join 4-H to learn hard work, be confident, serve their community, speak in front of others, responsibilities, and to be a leader. The best part is making new friends during the fair!”
Other Activities: Student Council, National Honor Society, Football, Basketball, Soccer, Golf, Quiz Bowl, FFA President, Class VP, Sugar Creek MVF, and Bethel United.
Future Plans: Attend Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids for Agriculture Crop Science.
