4-H Working Exhibits a success
Many people enjoyed ?making and taking? during the Working Exhibits on Tuesday, July 22, at the Washington County Fair. A large crowd flocked to the hands-on presentations Tuesday late afternoon and left with some homemade items and valuable facts.

Many people enjoyed ?making and taking? during the Working Exhibits on Tuesday, July 22, at the Washington County Fair. A large crowd flocked to the hands-on presentations Tuesday late afternoon and left with some homemade items and valuable facts.
Three groups of 4-H?ers participated in the Working Exhibits. They all qualified to represent Washington County at the Iowa State Fair. Baylee Stalder (Green Acres) and Megan Strabala (Go-Getters) earned top honor of Judge?s Choice trophy and will also advance to the state fair with their working exhibit ?Pipe Cleaner Finger Puppets." Maggie Rinner (Jackson Jets) and Haylie Trowbridge (Good Luck) were also selected as a state fair recipient with their homemade dog toys. Leah Marek (Jackson Jets) and Taylor Brinning (Prairie Pride) pool noodle boats working exhibit at the state fair. )
