Prairie Pride 4-H members and Washington Clover Kids partnered together for a holiday community service project on Nov. 14. Over 30 members from the two groups worked together to make Santa wreaths for residents at the UP Home and McCreedy Home. Community service is a valuable component to 4-H as members work to make the best better. This partnership activity also provided valuable leadership and mentor opportunities for the Prairie Pride 4-H members when working with the Clover Kids. This activity was coordinated by Clover Kid volunteer leader, April Cuddeback, with the assistance of club leaders Mindi Rees, Kathleen Brinning, Heather Greiner and Amy Greiner.
Clover Kids is a division of 4-H for kindergarten ? third grade who gather monthly for age-appropriate fun and learning. For more information on how to get involved as a 4-H member or volunteer, contact Amy at the Extension Office at 319-653-4811.
