4-H?ers skate away the afternoon
The Washington County 4-H County Council hosted the annual countywide 4-H Skating Party on Sunday, Jan. 15, at the Wellman Rec. Center. Over 150 4-H?ers, Clover Kid members, family members, and friends took advantage of the fun roller-skating. Numerous other adults and youth attended to cheer on from the sidelines. Skaters had time to free skate, as well as compete in some games and raffle prizes.

The Washington County 4-H County Council hosted the annual countywide 4-H Skating Party on Sunday, Jan. 15, at the Wellman Rec. Center. Over 150 4-H?ers, Clover Kid members, family members, and friends took advantage of the fun roller-skating. Numerous other adults and youth attended to cheer on from the sidelines. Skaters had time to free skate, as well as compete in some games and raffle prizes.
The Skating Party is one of the many countywide activities held for 4-H?ers throughout the year. County Council, one of the 4-H high school leadership teams, is now preparing for the Enchanted Ball Father Daughter Dance on Feb 11, the 4-H Dodge ball tournament March 5, and the 4-H pancake breakfast and Spring Preview Cattle Show on April 15 at the Washington County Fairgrounds.
