54th annual Bauer reunion

The 54th Annual Bauer Reunion was held on July 27, 2019, at the YMCA in Washington. The descendants of Jacob and Anna Marie Bauer present were: Bob and Lori Bauer, Bob Crane and Connie S. Bauer-Crane, Stan and Connie Bauer, Larry and Gerry DeLong, Bob and Peggy Helscher, Letha Statler and Marion Turnipseed, all of Washington; Joe Bauer, of West Chester; Karen Koehler, of Ainsworth; Tyler, Eldin, Annaleigh, Barrett and Abigail Bauer, of Lisbon; Jim and Jane Beranek, of Cedar Falls; Jessi Beranek, of Monroe; Don and Susie Peck, of Jackson, Michigan; Erma Lyle, of Tipton; and Judy Showalter, of Kalona. Guests were Hanna Townsend and Jim Windy.

A potluck meal was enjoyed, followed by visiting and updating the Family History.

Officers elected for 2019-20 were: president, Tom Bauer; vice president, Tyler Bauer; and secretary, Lori Bauer.

The 2020 reunion will be held on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020
