72-year-old man assaulted, taken to hospital
CEDAR RAPIDS (AP) ? Cedar Rapids police say they are investigating an assault that sent a 72-year-old man to the hospital.
Police said officers were called to the scene at Park Court and 2nd Avenue southeast shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday. The unidentified man was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities say they are still investigating. Anyone with information is urged to call Linn County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-272-7463. All calls are anonymous, and anyone with information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a reward.
