91st annual Cedar Falls Bible conference begins Saturday

The 91st annual Cedar Falls Bible conference will be held Saturday through Aug. 5, in the Cedar Falls Bible Conference tabernacle on the Riverview Conference Center grounds in Cedar Falls.

Conference sessions each morning and evening, and concerts, are open to everyone at no charge. Free will offerings will be taken at each session.

During all tabernacle sessions there also will be sessions for children and teens, as well as nursery and preschool accommodations.

A concert by Marty Goetz at 7:30 p.m. Saturday opens the conference. The conference includes Bible study and preaching led by six Christian speakers.

Michael Horton from Westminster Theological Seminary in California and White Horse Inn Ministries is the opening speaker Sunday morning.

He will be joined throughout the week by Scotty Smith of Christ Community Church in Franklin, Tenn., C. John Steer from Autumn Ridge Church in Rochester, Minn. Elizabeth George of Elizabeth George Ministries, Steven Lawson from Christ Fellowship Baptist Church in Mobile, Ala., and Everett Piper, president of Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, Okla..

Horton and Smith will lead a conference for pastors and church leaders Monday and Tuesday afternoons at the conference.

A concert featuring Dallas Holm, a 2012 inductee into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, is scheduled Aug. 4.
