94th annual Rees family reunion held June 18

The 94th annual John A. Rees Reunion was held Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Marr Park, near Ainsworth. A noon potluck meal was enjoyed by 75 members.

Oldest member present was John Harold Jones, 95. Youngest member present was Belle Luers. Cheryl and Bob Michaelsen of Denton, Texas, traveled the farthest and Jay Greene, Ainsworth, traveled the least distance.

The next reunion will be held the third Saturday in June 2017 at Marr Park.

Drink Committee for next year will be Rita Luers, Chair, Linda Jones and Shirley Temple.

Officers elected for next year are President Sarah Mayo, VicePresident John Evans, and Secretary-Treasurer Sharon Rees.
