AAUW awards scholarships
AAUW members are very pleased to be able to provide financial help to two women in the area. They are Kirsten Smith (left), 2009 Mt. AAUW members are very pleased to be able to provide financial help to two women in the area. They are Kirsten Smith (left), 2009 Mt. Pleasant high school graduate and Bridget Nebel, 2013 Washington High School graduate. Kirsten is a Kirkwood student and plans to enter the nursing program in January, hoping to work in the field of pediatrics. Bridget is currently a student at AIB College of Business and her goal is to receive a Bachelor of Science in accounting. They are pictured with Kitch Shatzer, scholarship committee chair.
