Future plans: Attend Iowa State University and major in elementary education.

How will your high school experience help you in the coming years? My high school experience will help me in my future by expanding my horizons and trying new things like I did in high school.

Fondest memory of high school? Participating in our volleyball student section, and going to every game to support our team in our ridiculous outfits.

Which teachers have had the biggest impact on you? Mr. Higdon had the biggest impact on me because he pushed me to the best of my abilities in class. His class was challenging, however, he pushed us to try our best and think of new ideas outside of the box.

Who is your role model and how did they influence you? My role model is my father because he is the toughest person I know that pushes himself even when he knows it's not the best for him. He has been through so much and that has taught me perseverance and to be strong in the face of adversity.

What is special about your high school? What is so special about my high school is the connections you make with everyone. I go to a small school so it's easy to bond with people and create memories all together especially my senior year where we all came together to cherish this last year we have together.

If you go back to when you were a freshman, what advice would you give yourself? I would tell myself as a freshman to push yourself more in school and activities. Pushing yourself allows you to make new friends and memories that will stick with you forever.
