Afraid of the dark? Get close to the light
Why do bad things seem to happen at night?
Or, we fear them most at night because we cannot see in the dark. What do we need in order to feel better? Light.
Jesus once sent his friends away. It was getting dark when they got in a boat. Then a storm picked up. The waves grew. The wind was fierce.
And, it was darker than dark. No stars. No light. Just black clouds on an angry sea.
Then they saw Jesus walking on ...
