AFRICAN VIOLET FOUNDATON

The African Violet Foundation, a local charity that provides Christmas gifts for teenagers in Jefferson County, will be accepting donations of unused Christmas cards.

The foundation also will be accepting donations of gently used Christmas gift bags. The bags must be big enough to hold a large hoodie.

Anyone with cards or gift bags to donate should call Staci Wright at 919-6328 or drop donations off at Fairfield High School.

Items can be donated at any time during the Christmas season and after.

FAIRFIELD WOMEN?S CLUB

The Fairfield Women?s Club will have its December meeting Wednesday at the McElhinny House.

A luncheon will be served at noon, followed by a program of Christmas music performed by students from the Fairfield High School music department.

A business meeting is planned.

Guests and anyone interested in joining the Fairfield Women?s Club is invited to attend.

Reservations are due by noon Monday. Reservations can be made by calling 919-1070 or 469-6619.

FAIRFIELD LATIN and BALLROOM ASSOCIATION

The Fairfield Latin and Ballroom Association will host a Latin, ballroom and swing dance Sunday at Morning Star Studio.

A lesson in fox trot starts at 7:30 p.m.

The dance is from 8-10 pm.  Admission is $3.
