Agri-Industrial Plastics to inaugurate solar array with ceremony Oct. 24

Agri-Industrial Plastics, a leading manufacturer of blow-molded plastic parts in Fairfield, will host an inauguration ceremony from 4-6 p.m. Oct. 24 to celebrate the completion of its solar array.

The company unveils Iowa's first peak shaving power plant to incorporate solar and Tesla Powerpack. With 6,000-plus manufacturing businesses in Iowa representing more than 18 percent of the state's GPD, this project is setting the example for how the manufacturing industry can control energy costs and increase sustainable business practices with advanced energy technology.
