Agriculture Business Club holds banquet
The Iowa State University Agricultural Business Club held its brunch banquet on March 8, 2014, at the Scheman Building in Ames. Speaker for the program was Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey. Mike Gaul, ISU career services director, gave a positive career opportunities update for those students graduating in the ag business field.

The Iowa State University Agricultural Business Club held its brunch banquet on March 8, 2014, at the Scheman Building in Ames. Speaker for the program was Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey. Mike Gaul, ISU career services director, gave a positive career opportunities update for those students graduating in the ag business field.
Past president Jordan Vittetoe of Washington and vice president Marcie Stevenson presented a slide show on club activities for the past year.
Outstanding club members were presented awards from advisers Georgeanne Martz and Ron Deiter. Joni Erwin, daughter of David and Tammy Erwin of Crawfordsville, received the Outstanding Freshman Award; and Jordan Vittetoe, son of Jerry and Deb Vittetoe, received the Dr. William G. Murray Outstanding Overall Senior Award.
Scholarship recipients from Washington were Brooke Paul, Alexandra Marek and Jordan Vittetoe. The ISU Ag Business Club has won national awards for Outstanding Chapter from 2006 to 2012, Creative Club Award from 2006 to 2010, and Academic Quiz Bowl in 2012.
