AGRICULTURE: Manure applicator programs Sept. 6 in Washington

Washington County Extension will reshow both the Commercial and Confinement Manure Applicator Programs on Friday, Sept. 6, for those who were unable to attend a workshop previously.

These programs are shown free of charge on this date. Applicators that need to schedule a reshow at any other time will be charged a $10 fee per person.

The Commercial Manure Program is three hours in length and will be shown at 8:30 a.m. The Confinement Manure Program is two hours in length and will be shown at 1:30 p.m. at the Washington County Extension office in Washington.

Anyone not able to attend training or those who prefer to retest should schedule an appointment with their Department of Natural Resources field office to take the certification exam.
