AgVenture GenetiPro summer intern Erica Robison participates in company-wide training program

AgVenture GenetiPro, of Washington, has welcomed Erica Robison as a summer intern.

Throughout the summer, Robison will participate in the AgVenture Trainee and Intern Development program, an intensive training program to help her polish her agronomy skills and learn to provide the support growers need to help them maximize profitability on every acre.

AgVenture GenetiPro Owner, Tyler Rees said, ?Erica is a very talented young professional who brings great enthusiasm and a drive for learning the job. She will work on farms and with our customers across southeast Iowa. We hope to help her learn as many facets of our business as possible. Participation in the program helps assure she meets the learning milestones necessary to help our customers advance their goals. Our interns and trainees learn to work together and independently. It?s a great opportunity to mentor those we consider the future of our business.?

Robison said, ?I am very pleased to be part of the group. The program includes valuable training in the field, as well as programs to develop personal skills that support our customers. Combining the science with the communication skills will provide me with valuable knowledge I can use throughout my career.?

A Winfield native, Robison is the daughter of Chris and Sharon Robison. She is pursuing a degree in Agricultural Studies at Iowa State University.
