Ainsworth Veterans Day services to be discontinued
James Harlan Thoma American Legion Post No. 351 in Ainsworth announced it is discontinuing its annual Veterans Day supper.
Citing low attendance and increasing Veterans Day activities Post Commander Tom Hartsock said, ?It was a difficult decision but we felt the increasing costs and growing number of activities in the local area made it impossible to continue.?

All veterans and their families are encouraged to attend a program. Members of Post No. 351 will attend the program sponsored by the Washington American Legion Family and F Troop and the United Presbyterian Church in Washington. Members of the Ainsworth community are also invited.
