Akey named new MP basketball coach

Mt. Pleasant named its new varsity boys' basketball had coach on Thursday, and it's a familiar name to Panther players and fans. Caleb Akey will take the helm for MPCHS in 2018.
Akey has been a part of Mt. Pleasant basketball for the last nine years, most recently serving as the junior varsity head caoch and an assistant to head coach Paul Rundquist.

Mt. Pleasant named its new varsity boys? basketball had coach on Thursday, and it?s a familiar name to Panther players and fans. Caleb Akey will take the helm for MPCHS in 2018.
Akey has been a part of Mt. Pleasant basketball for the last nine years, most recently serving as the junior varsity head caoch and an assistant to head coach Paul Rundquist.
With most of the varsity squad graduating from the 2017-18 team, Akey will coach a lot of the same players who played on the JV level for him this season.
