AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY

The Fairfield American Legion Auxiliary No. 47 will hold its first meeting of 2017 at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the VFW in Fairfield.

Those attending might need to enter through the east door.

The agenda will include further plans for bringing The Wall That Heals to Fairfield, as well as regular business as usual.

All members of the Fairfield American Legion are welcome to attend.

FAIRFIELD WOMEN?S CLUB

Fairfield Women?s Club will meet for lunch Wednesday at the McElhinny House.

After lunch, Mike Schleicher, a nurse practitioner at Jefferson County Health Center, will present the program.

President Lou Snead will conduct a business meeting, including plans for the March 7 lasagna luncheon.

Dixie Hickenbottom will serve as hostess, assisted by Sandy Gillaspie, Jan Hunerdosse and Susan Strickley.
