American Legion Post 29

Post 29 American Legion met at its regular date with Ron Brock commanding. Adjutant Jim Peterson reported on treasury and membership numbers. One member, Bill Beenblossom, has passed away. New members are Tracy Baumert and Jeremy Furniss. Sons of the Legion commander, Mike Sypherd, reported on the All Veterans picnic held Sept. 7. The program was Cheyene Cuddeback Miller reporting on her newest book. Mike handed out certificates thanking those who received donations from poppy day recently. The group heard reports from Mike Worley regarding the Honor Guard and Lonny Milligan on fundraising. The next auction will be held Sept. 15.

Veterans of any service are invited to attend meetings of Post 29 on the second Tuesday at the Blair House.
