AMERICAN MILITARY UNIVERSITY

Abbe Ball of Houston, Texas, has received her Master of Arts in psychology, magna cum laude, from the American Military University after obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Penn State University.

Ball is a 2001 graduate of Harmony High School. She enlisted in the U.S. Navy following 9/11, and after four years and three tours to the Persian Gulf, transferred to the U.S. Army serving another four years, including a tour in Korea. Ball is currently employed as a marketing executive in a Houston-based software company. She and her husband, Ryan, make their home in Houston, Texas.

Ball is the daughter of Gianna and Roy Barrow of Bonaparte and the granddaughter of Patricia and Richard Heater of Keosauqua, Jean and Herb Johnson of Fairfield, Carolyn Gaskell of Douds and the late Louis K. Barrow of Fairfield.
