Check out the American Revolution Experience — Traveling Exhibit in Mt. Pleasant, Tuesday, Oct. 28 through Wednesday, November 12.
Hosted by the James Harlan Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and American Battlefield Trust, this innovative pop-up exhibition connects audiences with the people and places that shaped the birth of our nation.
Plus, don’t miss the brief Opening Reception on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 10:30 a.m.
Located at the Veterans Hall in Mount Pleasant, 300 West Monroe Street, the exhibition features 12 display panels and interactive digital kiosks that bring the American Revolution to life through storytelling, illustrations, technology, unique artifacts, and firsthand accounts.
Families, school groups and historians are encouraged to attend this free experience.
Hours open are: Mondays: 10 a.m. — 4 p.m.; Tuesdays — Fridays: 10 a.m. — 6 p.m.; Saturdays: 10 a.m.— 4 p.m.; and Sundays: noon/Noon — 4 p.m.
Join us as we ramp up to our nation’s 250th by exploring the stories of ordinary people who made extraordinary contributions to America’s founding.
