Annual country music jam on tap
BENTONSPORT ? The fifth annual Bentonsport Riverside Country Music Jam returns this weekend, bringing with it the soothing sounds of fiddles, banjos and acoustic guitars.
The jam is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Saturday in Bentonsport Riverside Park.
All musicians, novices to experts alike, are invited to bring an instrument and lawn chair. A public address system and microphone will be on site.

BENTONSPORT ? The fifth annual Bentonsport Riverside Country Music Jam returns this weekend, bringing with it the soothing sounds of fiddles, banjos and acoustic guitars.
The jam is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Saturday in Bentonsport Riverside Park.
All musicians, novices to experts alike, are invited to bring an instrument and lawn chair. A public address system and microphone will be on site.
Food coupons worth $8 value will be given to the musicians, and food will available for purchase. The Greef General Store will stay open until 8 p.m. Musicians get one day free overnight camping with Bentonsport campground fees for two or more nights stay.
Anyone planning to stay the weekend will have the opportunity to walk the restored historic districts that date back to the early 1800s, and explore the antique and crafts shops, parks, lakes, Indian artifact museum, trails, campgrounds and bed and breakfasts.
