Annual night hike Oct. 8

Odd Couples is the theme for Henry County Conservation's annual night hike. It will be held Monday, Oct, 8, from 6-7:30 p.m. in front of the Oakland Mills Nature Center. This TV game show theme features carnival-style games while learning about nature. This is a new format from years past and the theme may not be what participants are expecting. There will be lots to learn at the Newly WEB Game activity and at Habitat Improvement. After the first station, participants will go at their own pace. All ages are welcome as this is an educational and fun event — it is not scary. Kids must be with an adult and prizes will be given at each game station. Reservations are not necessary. Activities will be held inside the nature center if inclement weather. This is a free event.
