Apple goodies

Rosmary Pacha of Brighton offers a caramel apple at the 2012 SS Joseph and Cabrini Bazaar ?Apple Store.? This year?s bazaar will be Sunday, with the pork loin and chicken breast dinner served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the church in East Pleasant Plain. The auction, with items like loads of wood, meat bundles, gift certificates and more, will begin at 1 p.m. Other activities include a raffle, country store, games, crafts, horse-drawn carriage rides and more. This year, Pacha plans to make 300 caramel apples and 300 apple-decorated sugar cookies, in addition to apple bars and snack mix. She began bringing the apple goodies to the bazaar 30 years ago; there?s always a long line, and they always sell out.
