Applications for Community Foundation scholarship available

Applications for the Community Foundation of Washington Iowa?s $500 scholarship are due May 31 (postmark deadline). Applicants must have completed at least one year of post-secondary education or be returning to school after an absence of at least one year and be a Washington County resident pursuing a degree from a college, university, community college or trade school in Iowa.

Application forms may be downloaded from their website at: http://www.cfgrb.org/our-affiliate-foundations/cfwc.html, or may be obtained at the Washington Public Library, Kalona Public Library, Wellman Public Library or the Kirkwood Learning Center in Washington. Applications and recommendation forms must be postmarked by May 31.
