Applications for Greater Jefferson County Foundation grants due June 1

Since the Greater Jefferson County was founded in 1975 the Grant Committee has been kept busy each year in receiving new charitable donations to the general grant fund and specific donations to focused grants. The Foundation offers over 35 years of experienced service and growth to the Jefferson County community by awarding grants to many community non-profit organizations.
Grants awarded in previous years include:
1999-2010 - $870,719
2011 - $139.232
2012 - $93,047
2013 - $126,082
2014 -$137,014
2015 - $136,545
2016 $140,215
2017 -$113,000
2018 - $177,128.
These grants to local nonprofit groups have traditionally be used for capital improvements. Area communities benefitting from these grants include Fairfield, Batavia, Libertyville, Lockridge, Pleasant Plain, and Packwood.

The Grant application forms may be accessed by going to our web site, gjcf.org and selecting grants. Applications are due by 4:00 p.m. June 1 each year.
