Jun. 24, 2021 6:56 pm, Updated: Jun. 24, 2021 7:14 pm
Henry County Public Health will visit any homebound resident of Henry County who would like to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Simply call 319-385-0779 to schedule an appointment.
Public Health currently has both the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson Janssen vaccines which are free and available to anyone age 18 or older. The vaccine continues to be available on a walk-in basis at regular immunization clinics on Tuesdays 9-11 a.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays 1-4 p.m., and the first and third Thursday 1-6 p.m.
If you are able to come to a clinic but need transportation, call SEIBUS at 866-753-5107 to schedule an appointment. Rides are free.
Ending this pandemic is a group effort, and we need to use every tool available. The COVID-19 vaccine is a safe, effective way to protect our families and communities.
If people don’t get the virus, they don’t spread the virus — which is why vaccination is so important to end the COVID-19 pandemic. Henry County Public Health urges you to make the choice to get vaccinated.
