The City of Washington is going to get the leaf vac out on Monday, April 15, and will pick up leaves for one week (April 15-19). Residents are encouraged to have their piles out like usual before Monday, April 15. It is unclear how many piles there will be and how fast they will be removed.
Pickup will begin as usual starting in the northwest quadrant working in a counterclockwise movement, finishing up in the northeast part of town. If it takes longer than expected pickup will continue until the entire city is covered once. Following this the vac will be put away until the fall.
