April S.H.A.R.E packages revealed
Orders are due April 6 for the S.H.A.R.E. Iowa Inc. food packages available in April.
Orders can be placed by calling the St. Mary Catholic Church office at 472-3179 or the Southern Iowa Economic Development Association office at 472-6140. Orders also can be placed online at www.shareiowa.org. The pickup date will be the morning of April 1 at the Fairfield Eagles Club.

Orders are due April 6 for the S.H.A.R.E. Iowa Inc. food packages available in April.
Orders can be placed by calling the St. Mary Catholic Church office at 472-3179 or the Southern Iowa Economic Development Association office at 472-6140. Orders also can be placed online at www.shareiowa.org. The pickup date will be the morning of April 1 at the Fairfield Eagles Club.
Several different packages are available; participants can purchase one or more in any combination.
The $25 ?best value? package includes chicken strips, sweet Italian lean turkey sausage links, chicken breasts, pork chops, sweet potato fries, raspberry and cheese sweet and fresh seasonal produce.
The $13.50 grocery package includes just the sweet potato fries, sweet rolls and fresh produce, while the $13.50 meat-only package includes just the chicken strips, sausage links, chicken breasts and pork chops.
The $20 breakfast box includes bacon, egg and cheese bagels, sausage patties and french toast sticks.
The $20 fajita box includes chicken breast strips, chicken thigh strips, taco meat, a blend of red, green and yellow peppers with onions and tortillas.
Other packages include boneless chicken breast fillets for $16; and butterfly shrimp for $18.
Participants who order one of the main food packages also have the option to order ?choice? items.
The choice items for April include: four chicken cordon bleu portions for $6; steakhouse seasoned beef steak sliders for $5.50; six 12-inch supreme natural rising pizzas for $18; and a Dutch Country spice cake roll for $4.50, although the food packages are subject to changes.
The nonprofit food-buying organization offers meal food packages at reduced costs through its volunteer-run distribution system. Participants do not have to meet income guidelines. Participants are asked to volunteer at least two hours to an activity of their choice.
